Kristina Kapilin is an interdisciplinary artist and sound designer based in London.

Her practice explores the relationship between sound, language, and memory and our experience of landscapes, ecologies, and histories. Her work often draws inspiration from folklore and oral storytelling to explore stories that have been overlooked, forgotten, or silenced. Blurring the lines between the historical and the imagined, she invites audiences to reconsider how we remember, reimagine, and retell the stories we inherit, and how they continue to shape our understanding of history and place.

Kristina graduated from the Royal College of Art and from Central Saint Martins, where she has since returned to teach. She is currently an Academic Support Lecturer for Central Saint Martins Performance Programme.
