Textile installation / Stereo sound / Community workshop series
Created by Linnéa Duckworth, Laura Selby and Kristina Kapilin
In partnership with Sands End Art and Community Centre
The project brings together the artists’ practices in experimental sound, writing, and textile installation, along with work created during a workshop series at Sands End Arts & Community Centre. These workshops invited participants to take part in listening exercises, reflective writing, and cyanotype-making in South Park.
Woven Words invites audiences to look, listen, and reflect on the often-overlooked sounds, textures, colours, shapes, and atmospheres woven into London’s urban nature, and aims to restore a sense of wonder through sensory and material exploration.
